Mind The Gap
A Korean, a Sri Lankan, a Mexican, and a Jew from Cleveland. 4 musicians from the 4 corners of the world aiming to shotgun blast through the insipid airwaves of current music with acoustic harmonies fused with modern technology.
Mind the Gap have been writing music for film and television when first approached by music supervisor, Jonathan McHugh, for several shows on the Discovery Channel, TLC, and VH1. They also wrote and produced music for several films including Mass Animation: Live Music and The Education of Charlie Banks. The Democratic National Convention then used a cover song performed by the group for Hillary Clinton’s introduction tape, heard by over 40 million people worldwide.
In between licensing music, they have been touring nationwide, selling out shows in NYC and Chicago, performing at High Sierra Music Festival, Canadian Music Fest, and CMJ Music & Film Marathon. While on tour, they received media attention, being awarded AOL’s Spinner Download of the day. The group rests their heads in Los Angeles, CA.
